Senior TA Specialist

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who would be responsible for scouting, vetting, and recruiting exceptional talent. With that said, we are a scrappy startup, so the scope will be large. In this role, there is strong potential to build out a team that will quickly grow the rest of the business. This person will serve as the thought leader on all talent acquisition strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the talent acquisition process and directly manage and coach other TA Specialists.

  • Build company-wide processes and implement tools to improve work efficiency.

  • Be the face of D1 to candidates as they engage with our business.

  • Lead search and negotiations for executive positions.

  • Drive short and long term headcount planning with leadership team.

  • Develop and provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to management.

  • Work with hiring managers to define needs and convert those needs into a recruitment strategy.

  • Develop sourcing models and plans to generate the talent pipeline; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers.

  • Develop prospects into candidates. Engage, sustain relationships, screen, and interview.

  • Ensure a strong applicant experience from interviewing to onboarding.

  • Continually contribute to the knowledge base of the group, sharing new information about industries and talent pools.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience including sourcing and full life cycle recruitment.

  • 2+ years of direct management experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to work fast in a rapidly changing, startup environment.

  • Experience recruiting talent in the e-commerce industry.
