Mohammad is the Co-CEO of D1 brands, where he is primarily responsible for the execution of the company’s overall strategy and mission with a particular focus on supply chain and operations. While pursuing a degree in Finance at Hofstra University, Mohammad founded a small consumer goods brand that would later become the foundation of D1. Over the course of three years, Mohammad grew the brand into an 8-figure business realizing a 3,500% growth rate. Today, Mohammad’s native Amazon experience and success is at the heart of D1 Brands.
As Co-CEO of D1 brands, Yaz is primarily responsible for the execution of the overall strategy and mission of the company, with a particular focus on capital raising and investor relations. Prior to founding D1 Brands, Yaz was an Equity Research Analyst at Fidelity Investments covering industrials, financials, and REITS. During his time at Fidelity, Yaz Covered ~$10B of invested capital and deployed another ~$2B. Yaz holds majors in both Finance and Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he graduated magna cum laude.
VP of Operations
Hamza is the VP of Operations at D1, where he is focused mainly on overseeing the infrastructure used to acquire, onboard, and operate the company’s top Amazon-native brands. Prior to joining D1, Hamza had successfully launched and run several profitable brands on Amazon across multiple product categories with revenues run-rating $100M+. Hamza holds a degree in Business Marketing from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
VP of Integrations & Ops Strategy
Razak is the VP of Integrations & Operations Strategy at D1, where he is focused primarily on team building, leadership development, and brand growth strategy implementation for newly acquired brands. Before joining D1, Razak spent the last four years selling over $75 million worth of Amazon products across a dozen brands. Razak graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he majored in Economics.
VP of Supply Chain
Jordan is the VP of Supply Chain at D1 Brands, where he is primarily focused on optimizing the company’s supply chain strategy and operations. Before joining D1, Jordan was a Manager in Wayfair’s Operations Finance group, where he worked to optimize network planning, warehouse operations, capital investments, and inventory management. Prior to that, Jordan worked at Berkeley Research Group, providing corporate finance advisory services to distressed retail businesses. Jordan holds degrees in both Finance and Mathematics from UMass Amherst.
VP of M&A
Zack is the VP of M&A at D1 brands, where he leads the company’s efforts to invest in and partner with world-class e-commerce brands. Before joining D1, Zack was a Private Equity Senior Associate at Satori Capital, where he helped lead investments in companies across a wide range of industry verticals. Prior to working at Satori, Zack was an investment banking analyst at Lincoln International, specializing in sell-side M&A and Leveraged Finance. Zack graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame, where he earned degrees in both Finance and English.
