Amazon Brand Director

We’re looking for a motivated Amazon Brand Director that is excited about leading a team to maximize revenue, profit, and brand market share. We are a scrappy startup, so there is limited process in place, and the scope of this role will be large. Unlike more mature businesses, you’ll have the opportunity to be intimately involved in the details while making high-impact strategic decisions, fostering a team, and designing cross functional processes from scratch.


  • Oversee and manage a total team of 8+ individuals including brand managers + ppc specialists, supply chain managers, designers, global expansion specialists, channel expansion specialists and customer service reps.

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of brands with products that generate anywhere from $5mm – $30mm+ in revenue.

  • Drive strategic decision making around pricing, inventory planning, advertising, new product launches, etc.

  • Analyze Amazon data (sales, conversation rate, sessions, etc.) to determine why certain products are trending up or down and develop strategies to quickly troubleshoot revenue/margin issues.

  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure your brands and products don’t stockout in the near term or future, based on historical data and forecasted projections.

  • Coordinate with designers to revamp/improve product branding and Amazon listings to improve conversion rate.

  • Coordinate with customer service to monitor product quality and improve any issues with manufacturers.

  • Partner with teammates to develop a go-to-market strategy and execute product launches, variation launches and global expansion.


  • 5+ years of experience in a heavily analytical role where you were responsible for P&L, analytics, and marketing.

  • 3+ years of e-commerce experience managing a portfolio of products, preferably on Amazon.

  • Experience as a P&L owner where you have been responsible for budgets, driving revenue and EBITDA growth. You understand how to use data to drive decision-making.

Preferred Skills

  • Amazon FBA private-label background.

  • Excellent verbal & written communications skills.

  • Ability to embrace and navigate ambiguous environments.

  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc.)
